As part of our efforts to maintain a clean and safe learning environment for all students, we kindly ask that students not bring outside drinks (such as coffees, sodas, specialty beverages, and energy drinks) to school.

We encourage students to bring a refillable water bottle, which they can use throughout the day at our water stations. This helps us minimize spills, distractions, and allergens in the classroom and supports a healthier school environment.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support!

We need your input!! The purpose of the Stronger Connections Grant from TEA is to support systemic changes in how school districts address and respond to bullying, violence, and hate. HISD was fortunate to receive one of the two grants awarded in Region 16. Our goal is to meet the academic and non-academic needs of students by creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments, which will lead to better academic performance and improved mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical well-being. Please take a moment to complete the survey linked below. Your feedback is essential in helping HISD and HJH ensure we are addressing the needs of our students, staff, and community, and will guide our approach in supporting these endeavors.
